Erica Cerra is a Canadian actress who was born on October 31, 1979. She's best known as the actress of Eureka the Syfy show. Cerra was a British Columbian born of Italian descent who was born at Vancouver. The actress was attracted to acting from the age of eight years old and was featured in many commercials when she was a kid. A break was taken out of the business for some time before it was back in the 2001 when she was an 22-year-old. Cerra was ranked among Vancouver's top five actresses of the future by Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra has appeared as Jo Lupo's deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy series that ran between the years 2006 and 2012. In 2006, she starred as the lead on the Michael Buble music video Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra was a prominent character in several well-known and highly acclaimed TV programs, such as Battlestar Galactica. Cerra has also appeared in important films like Man About Town featuring Ben Affleck alongside Rebecca Romijn or Blade:Trinity which included Wesley Snipes. Cerra's body and face were used to model Ashley Williams, a character from The Mass Effect video game franchise. As an elementary student I was a journalist for educational interviews that were broadcast on the news channel at our school. I was also responsible for the daily news headlines of our school. Our news program in Oakland Elementary was called WOAK. Khondabi states that after college, her first work experience as a news reporter on television was with WAGT Augusta Georgia. Khondabi writes, "I was a news reporter for 6 years." After Augusta I was a morning anchor at WOWK in Charleston West Virginia at WOWK and then Columbus Ohio as a traffic anchor and morning news host for The local ABC as well as FOX affiliates.
